I wish I’d taken that photograph…what a blissful scene…yes we should all take time out to sit and contemplate life, preferrable on a grassy hill under a blue sky not in a supermarket.

I like how all the species are harmoniously relaxing

that is a wonderful composition ; a touch of blue, a touch of corvette (crow) , a touch of red, a touch of dog , a touch of sheep , all looking in a direction, a foreground, a middle ground, and a background and all on yellow tussocky hillock

They look like they are waiting for something maybe food to be brought to them or perhaps it was just arriving…the photographer might be able to tell us.

“Until one has loved an animal a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”

Yep. very special moment when the crows and the dogs are all sitting watching the sunset over the mountains. I heard that dogs are often considered to be reincarnations of monks who failed to achieve spiritual enlightenment, so they are well cared for and people give them food out of compassion. I wonder about the crows. They seem to be portents in many cultures.

  7. jacqui Says:

the dog / monk thing, I think it is a lonely planet invention or interpretation not really ascribed by tibs to the dogs
