    I like the quote…now thinking of summer and blue skies and daffodils and peace in the world…oh just thought that there are only 650 mountain gorillas left in the world that slipped in and brought me down.

      HI Marie
      I think that’s the point of the quote exactly. Allowing the news to controll your emotional response (or PU for that matter) is giving away alot of power.
      There must be at least ten million people looking out for the Gorilla’s welfare and makeing sure they keep their mountain homes… which we can be happy for the worlds about.
      There is also a very nice book by Tim Lowe who puts a new perspective on our thoughts about species who have advanced themselves through exploiting the human exploiters.
