    A wise old owl sat on an oak;
    The more he saw the less he spoke;
    The less he spoke the more he heard;
    Why aren’t we like that wise old bird?

    In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks. ~John Muir

    “What part of the Earth is sacred space?’,I would say that, `From an Aboriginal perspective, every square inch’. In fact, it can be said that every step we take is a prayer.

    For me there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length. And there I travel — looking, looking, breathlessly.

    there is something very beautiful about this photo

  8. Poetic Universe Says:

    I personally love the way this photo breaks the rules of photography and splits the photo into two. usually a big no no.

  9. jacqui Says:

    I like all the perspectives of the foreground , middleground and fartherground, ..it has gentle flowing movement and stillness in it, it has enclosed spaces and openess , and a beautiful variety of greens and subtle colour, it has patience in it and the mirroring of the geometry of the monk with that of the geometry and shape of the tree. It is a cohesive and peaceful but purposeful scene and photo.
