    I am also intersted in this whole valley. the Liebu valley is full of anchient heritage artifacts , including the Princess Wencheng temple.

    I have many favourites but this has always been my first and most favoured …I feel happy looking at it.. I can hear the rushing water and feel the smooth stone..
    Princess Wencheng obviously did a very good thing…

    Not keen on the refernces to banks and torture. spoils the page a bit….

    Hi cam
    Its a sanskrit quote -carved into the river rocks that sounds much more poetic than the English translation – bless the jewell in the teaching of the lotus. It means that with your roots still in the mud of earthly existence you can cut through the suffocating water into the air , blosssoming in your new awareness like a big pink lotus flower giving pleasure to all those around you with your mind bending gorgeousness.
