14th October

Never lose an opportunity to see anything that is beautiful. It is God's handwriting, a wayside sacrament. Welcome it in every fair face, every fair sky, every fair flower. Ralph Waldo Emerson.

i think its a lovely quote that could be a testimonial one day on the book version of this site…. though by the end of christmas day I am usually ready for 364 non christmas days till the next one comes around.

Are they wilting or is that just their growth habit? I like the first part of that quote but what about dark faces and dark skies?

      My God
Your’re right. we may have to strike this quotes a s racist against swarthy and dark faces and flowers. They are wilting langorously , but they could also be just like that. maybe they are the born melancholics of flowers – and maybe they aren’t fair at all… but i too conclude with “Go Astro Boy!!!!!!!!”

A bird in the hand maybe worth 2 in the bush but if not stored correctly in your fridge means a bug in your tummy.

My mama always told me life was like a box of beer, you start off enjoying yourself only to wake up one day with aches and pains and looking something like a dogs breakfast
